Following the demise of the Awliscombe village pub, we decided to reduce the loss to the community and open the village hall as a 'pop up pub' and as of January 2026 we have a permanent alcohol licence allowing us to be spontaneous and responsive to events. e.g. England in the final of the world cup!!

Why the Awli? At the height of it's glory days, the pub was called the Awliscombe Inn and was always referred to as 'The Awli'.
